The renewal of the machinery and the development of production has progressed with the purchase of an automatic sunk hole machine/cell by FB Ketju. The immersion machine is operated by two robots, which makes production more efficient and increases capacity. The machine works effectively, making production more continuous.
With the new dipping machine/cell, manual and manual dipping will essentially become a thing of the past. Smaller batches can still be made by hand, using two boring machines. With the new automatic sunk hole machine, thousands of plates can be efficiently processed with consistent quality.
The machine is fully automatic but a human operator is needed to infeed the side plates. However, the automatic machine frees up the workers who were using the old inliner for other tasks, which makes more sense from a production point of view. The machine places the side plates in an intermediate storage area after dipping.
The aim is that in the future, everyone working in the side plate production hall will be able to use the automatic sunk hole machine and transfer the side plates to the machine, while they are doing their job.
